1 banana, chopped
Handful berries - fresh or frozen (blackberries/ strawberries/ raspberries)
½ lemon, juiced
½ can coconut milk
Sprig of fresh mint
2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
Splash of milk of choice (almond, hemp, oat or rice are good choices)
(Optional) Scoop of protein powder (e.g. pea, hemp or whey)
- Put all the ingredients into a blender (e.g. nutribullet or Smoothie 2 Go by Kenwood) and whizz until smooth.
- Serve in a tall glass with some mint leaves for decoration. Eat with a spoon and chew the liquid to help digestion.
